Software module for layout, mechanical and equipment design purposes

CADMill Mechanic is easy to use and efficient engineering tool for design and documentation of industrial properties. The tool provides the user with 3d-modeler, advanced support for mechanical drawings, equipment design drawings, 2d-piping drawings , factory layouts, structural steel drawings and isometric piping drawings. The system also includes comprehensive Standard symbol libraries based on International standards and regional codes of practise. It also offers easy addition of custom symbols and a large set of libraries from equipment manufacturers. The dynamic links to CADMill Database (included in the CADMill Mechanic) provides excellent functionality for transferring information in both directions. The system also offers the user a report manager which handles several different reports based on data both the drawing and the database.

CADMill Mechanic provides a comprehensive libraries including standard mechanical components and equipment libraries, piping parts, bends, flanges, pipes, ducts, bracing and pipe support.

Basic drawing functions

The software includes a large amount of the features that makes the basic drawing work easier, like help geometry, automatic dimensioning etc.

Drawing symbols libraries

CADMill Mechanic includes a wide variety of drawing symbols , that are neede in basic mechanical design (welding and surface symbols) but also the symbols that are needed in layout and piping design, like pipe support symbols etc.
